It should work with your jQuery version. Maybe uninstall it completely and reinstall it. Or maybe there is a conflict with another plugin. I will try to find the problem..

At first i tore apart the whole site, nothing changed. Restored my backup... nothing changed... Went for dinner, returned... WORKED again! My advice would be to have dinner.

Twitter changed their API it is now using the API v1.1. They were shutting down sometimes the v1.
